AMAZING THINGS YOU NEVER KNEW THEY EXIST IN ENUGU STATE
We cannot talk of a clean, peaceful and culturally diverse states in the southeastern part of Nigeria without having Enugu State as number one in the list. The state was created in 1991 by the major effort of Fredrick Lugard during the surge of coal mining and exportation. It emanated from the old Anambra State. Its capital and largest city is Enugu, from which the state derives its name. The principal cities in the state are Enugu, Nsukka, Agbani and Awgu. You might have heard about the discovery of coal in Enugu State but i bet you never knew that gold and crude oil also exist in the state, in the early 80's gold was discovered in Ibagwa aka and crude oil was discovered in in igbo-etiti by Late Mr.Ruben A.
